Ottawa citizen created 'Boston we run with you' T-shirts

Brent Smyth was at the Boston Marathon April 15, 2013 when the bombings occurred. He was within 18 meters of the blasts where three people were killed and many others injured.  Moved by that experience, he wanted to do something to help the victims.  So, he created a T-shirt with the slogan of "Boston We Run With You".  As a runner from Ottawa, Smyth wanted to represent running and Boston.  He is selling the T-shirts for $26.20, which is the distance of the marathon, in miles, with all proceeds going to The One Fund. (Ottawa Citizen)

It should be noted that while we continue to see Boston marathon bombing-related T-shirts appear, we as the punchers of the T-shirts need to be cognizant of that not all T-shirts sold bearing a  variant of the Boston Strong slogan are benefiting the victims of the Boston marathon bombing.  Some T-shirts are purely being made, marketed and sold for pure profit with no intention of helping the victims.  Brent Smyth's T-shirt will go to The One Fund, but make sure you do a little research into each T-shirt you buy for the Boston Marathon bombing victims, or any other tragedy for that matter, before you commit the purchase.

Do good things.
