In the wake of the tragic fire at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bryan, which killed and injured people, a benefit was held and people were buying T-shirts with the proceeds going to a fund to help those affected by the fire. The shirts costs $20 with $15 going to the fund. As of February 28, 2013, they'd collected $50,000 and orders were still coming in, even from England. (CBSDFW)
This is another good story of T-shirts being used to do good things. I love to see this. Too often news of T-shirts is about someone being offended by a certain slogan. Here, T-shirts can be used to do good things to help people.
Do good things.
