Have the food allergies in this country become so dire we have to dress our children in warning label t-shirts? See the article below from ABC News as it describes the new line of "Don't Feed Me" T-shirts for parents to give warning to caregivers for their children against 17 scary allergy triggers.
I'm not here to make light of food allergies. Some can be horrifically terrible, deadly even. But, I would hope that such a T-shirt design should call out the core problem here - food allergies. At least 3 million American children have a food or digestive allergy, and the problem is growing, according to the CDC. Is this not concerning to you? It is to me. And it should be to you too.
I like the design. Simple. No confusion. But, it is concerning to me that food allergies are at such a level to warrant the creation of a T-shirt line like this.
