Bummer! But, hey, keep the T-shirt.
An estimated 2,000 registered runners for the the Berry runs will not be participating in any of the races. Organizers elected to cancel the various runs due to morning lighting and concerns over a flooded course.
Its not all bad news, though. The registered runners do get to keep their T-shirts for the event, and any medals they'd won so far. Plus, they get a discount on next year's run event. That's nice, but I'm the runners would have met the challenge of inclement weather and carried on.
