Are people cashing in on the Boston Marathon Tragedy?

No one should be surprised, but almost immediately, T-shirts, bumper stickers and other items were available for sale.  A variety of slogans are being used, but its universally to remember the event.  This infusion of T-shirts and other items has caused a commotion among the populace.  Are people taking advantage of the tragedy and cashing in on it?

Before anyone gets their torches and pitchforks out, let's step back and recall that in every terrible event, regardless if it was nature of by terrorists, people and groups have stepped forward, offering commemorative T-shirts with a definitive acknowledgement of how much money from the T-shirt sales are used, and where those funds go.  In those cases, the response has been overwhelming and successful.

Are people cashing in on the Boston tragedy?  Some, I suspect.  But, its only been a couple days. Let's let things settle down.  Let's determine what charitable organization are available that can help the people hurt by the explosions.  Then, when a credible offer is made by a credible organization, then I believe its not considered cashing in.

What do you think?
