CEO Shaun Menchaca of the Portneuf Healthcare Foundation near Idaho State University was giving away free T-shirts to people who were being physically active. In what he calls a T-shirt bomb through their wellness program, giving away the T-shirts is their way of promoting and encouraging people to stay healthy by being active. (KPVI, Pocatello)
Great story. The article notes that some people were reluctant to receive a free T-shirt. What? Why? Most people were very exited to receive a free T-shirt. Its always good to get a pat on the back for being active and healthy. Compared to treating sick people, I'm sure the cost of a few T-shirts is worth keeping people healthy. More wellness programs should adopt this process.
Do good things.
